The amazing M104 Sombrero Galaxy. Not sure which is the most amazing aspect, the Galaxy itself, the amazing surrounding sky, or the fact that Vesto Slipher calculated in 1912 that it is traveling away from us at 1000 klms per second.
This 60 mins HA (3nm) shot taken by the author with ASA N16 16" Astrograph with FLI PL11002 class 1.
